Shelf Love : Zombies vs. Unicorns

I'm a little behind on my Good Reads post for a couple of reasons : One : I've been catching up blogging client sessions from the Fall. My plan is to be all caught up on blogging sessions by Mid-March. Just in time for Spring! Two : I've been reading a lot of books that require a tiny bit of daily reading. Devotions, etc. More on those later. So, that means less time for real novels. This time I read mainly books that were not something I'd pick up on my own. (Two are my style - the … [Read more...]

Charley | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

Fall 2012 brought a ton of new little babys into TWP's life. Charley Jo made her debut, and I was so excited for her photos. This sweet baby is destined to be a girly girl. I always get extra excited for some reason when my newborns have a head full of hair. Her little locks were just ADORABLE. Charley's pet Kitty watched over me the entire newborn session. She guarded little Ms. Thing like a hawk, and did not leave her side. Kitty will make a debut in a later blog post as well.. She … [Read more...]

The Wood Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

This Fall I had the opportunity to spend some time with the Wood family. I've known mom (Jessica) since grade school, and she is one of the most genuine and kind people. I was thrilled when she contacted me to get some family pictures in while they were in Georgia during baseball's off-season. The timing couldn't have worked out more perfectly - with my traveling that year winding down. It didn't take long to see just how perfect Jessica & Blake are for each other. Both hilarious in … [Read more...]

Hannah | Charlottesville, VA | Newborn Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

You may remember my best friend, Rachel. I shot her maternity session this summer & "it" (she) was a real stunner! I flew out early this October to capture Johnny & Rachel's new arrival Hannah. Boy, was I smitten. Hannah, was absolutely adorable & I had so much fun visiting her in Virginia those first few days. We mixed up her session with a few lifestyle type images, and then some more traditional posed newborn photos. You know I had to take them outside to get some … [Read more...]

Nicole + Tyler | Indianapolis Engagement Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

What to say.. What to say.. What to say.. Wowza. This engagement session blew my mind. Not only was it the most fun I've had in a long time- the scenery (& couple I might add) were gorgeous. I've known Nicole several years now, and was beyond ecstatic when she reached out to me immediately following her engagement. I swear sometimes her and I have the same mind. Our taste is so similar it's kind of creepy honestly. She is sarcastic & fun, so I knew we'd be a good fit! I will … [Read more...]

Selby Twins | Indianapolis Children Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

I got to meet up with these two hilarious jokers this Fall. Ava & Josh were two peas in a pod at this session. It always amazes me how twins can turn out being so different. The one thing these two definitely have in common is a GIANT personality. I had so much fun. Here is a look into their session.. By the time we were half-way done with the session Ava had grown especially attached to me... Already calling me her "fwend". Somehow these two even convinced their Aunt Maria … [Read more...]

Ellis | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

Oh Ellis.... I had been anxiously awaiting this little guys arrival since his mother contacted me a few months in advance. I may or may not have done a bit of light Facebook stalking around his due date to see if he had made it into this World yet. This little guy was to oh so sweet. He slept like a champ, and honestly didn't make a peep! Enjoy his images guys! Congrats to Sara & Shawn! … [Read more...]

The Tapak Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer | Taylor Whitham Photography

This fall I got to see one of *THE* cutest familys ever. No lie. During e-mail correpsondence I was warned that Little Ms. Lillia would be one of the cutest things I had ever seen... She did not disappoint! This family is sweet as can be. Not to mention AWESOME for donating their session fee directly to Images for a Cure.  A foundation I am lucky enough to be a part of.  I am sincerely grateful for that.  Lillia's personality was absolutely hysterical, and she had me wrapped around her … [Read more...]
