Reid | Indianapolis Newborn Photographer

Oh little Reid… (Who isn’t so little anymore might I add?) I keep up with my littlest clients on Facebook, so I’m kind of glad I’m blogging this today. I’m going to pretend he is this wittle bitty again! It’s really sad, but once they graduate that first year with me I really really miss them! It’s like seeing them every few months makes me feel like I was a part of their big picture in some way!

Any-who.. Simon and Amy you might remember from their maternity session here. You also might now Amy’s sister and her family from this session here. I get to see all of the little cousins and just how special is that?! I have so many sibling clients and I honestly think that those are some of the most fun. You get to see hereditary traits pop out in almost all of them in some way or another. It’s just the raddest thing to watch evolve.

Little Reid finally arrived in August and I couldn’t have been more excited! Our birthdays are very close (not in years…YIKES!) But similar birthdays so I always think that is neat. I hope you enjoy his newborn session as much as I did photographing it.

Reid’s room had a very “Route 66/old fill station” feel to it. How appropriate for a little guy? Amy did an amazing job pulling together all of the little details, and it turned out amazing.

I always love these first photos with Daddy!

When I culled these images from their session the one above instantly just made me stop. It’s so raw and just simple that I loved it.

So, Amy and Emily have the best mom. She has literally been such a huge part of all of her grandchildren’s lives. She was at all of their newborn sessions, so I always try to grab several with her. What a great support system they will all have!

Since it was a balmy and HOT day we snuck outside to make the most of the gorgeous light.

Hard to believe this is just right in their backyard, huh? Some of my favorite locations are just ridiculously obvious you have to make the most of them!

I get to see Reid and his cousin Beck again very very soon for 6 Month photos and I am beyond thrilled! Stay tuned these little guys are going to keep me running for sure!
